This rustic Cornish cottage enjoys a lovely location in the rural village of Penrose, just outside Padstow, but it is most definitely no ordinary rural holiday property. Firstly, it's part of the Rick Stein group of restaurants and holiday properties, and has been converted and designed to a very high standard by his ex-wife, interior designer Jill Stein. More importantly it's beautifully equipped and furnished and all in all makes for a brilliant Cornish hideaway, perfectly located for exploring the north Cornwall coast. and just a short drive from Padstow itself. There are four double bedrooms sleeping eight in all; two of the guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms. It has a small courtyard garden, private parking, wifi throughout, a washing machine and dryer, a well-equipped kitchen and a TV room with DVD player. There is a Sonos music system, and a wood-burning stove for cosy evenings – and although sadly you can't bring dogs, it really is a perfect family house, as well as a great rural retreat for a group of friends.
