Suffolk, a low lying county sandwiched between Essex and Norfolk, makes up much of the East Anglia region. This agricultural area, although not home to the most dramatic of landscapes, has a great deal of charm and lots of pleasant rural areas. You can find plenty of places to stay out in the countryside with a wide selection of hotels, B&Bs and also glamping options. Suffolk's towns are also great for exploring including the county town of Ipswich, the pretty Bury St Edmunds and beachside Lowestoft, all of which offer lots in terms of things to do, places to eat and accommodation options.
