A renowned and spectacular headland just to the west of the seaside resort of Newquay, the Pentire Peninsula is everything you dreamed of when you considered coming to Cornwall. A rocky stretch of coast that looks out over deep blue seas from its position above the Gannel Estuary, it's a place where you can enjoy the best of the North Cornwall coast and feel relatively isolated, yet still be within walking distance of the beaches and amenities of Newquay itself and also not far at all from other iconic North Cornwall locations like Perranporth, Padstow, Rock and Tintagel.
Treheyl is an amazing house, with three floors, access to its own beach and incredible views over the estuary and coastal beaches. It's a house that invites the outside in, with bi-fold doors leading to terraces that really make the most of the location – and make you feel as if you have stumbled upon one of the most exotic and desirable holidays in the country. And guess what? You have!
The house can comfortably sleep up to ten people in five stylish and well-appointed guest bedrooms. One – the master bedroom - occupies the entire top floor of the house and has its own terrace, en-suite bathroom an a super-king-size bed. The other bedrooms are located on the ground (middle) floor and lower ground floor and one has its own en-suite, while the others share a family bathroom. As for living space, there's loads, notably a huge open-plan living area with lots of seating, a dining space and kitchen area, a cinema room and a large terrace with sun-loungers and outdoor seating where you can take in the magnificent views and enjoy sun-trap afternoons amid sub-tropical plants. There's also a plunge pool and a hot tub so it would be hard to get bored even if you never left the house.
If you do, make you visit the Treheyl's own beach or head to nearby Fistral for the surf, paddle across to Crantock beach or explore some more of Pentire on foot. You are also just a five-minute drive from Newquay's busy centre, while the beach at Perranporth isn't far in the opposite direction, making this the perfect spot for anyone looking for a beach house in North Cornwall at any time of year.
