Crantock Beach

Crantock Beach Newquay

Lying to the west of Pentire Head, Crantock’s vast stretch of sand is a popular haunt for dog walkers year-round. Pummelled by surf when the Atlantic swell rolls in, it also attracts plenty of surfers and is often less crowded than neighbouring Fistral. Good for rock-pooling, walking, surfing – and bathing. Beach equipment hire, refreshments and beach car parking all available.
