Swanky self-catering cottages ensconced in countryside yet only a short hop from the sea.
When you've bumped along the track to reach Moyles Farm, pushed aside the chickens and flung your luggage into one of the three beautiful barn conversions, the last place you'd imagine finding just a short hop down the road is the glorious, wave-lashed Polzeath beach. When you're at 'home' curled up by the wood-burner, relaxing in a roll-top bathtub or whipping up fresh Cornish produce in your country kitchen (or even heating up a home-cooked meal delivered by local caterers), these swanky self-catering cottages seem so ensconced in the pages of Country Living that the beach is the last thing on your mind. But there it is, just a mile and a half away, a great smile of pearly sands where gangs of wannabe surfers wobble towards the shore. The cottages (a mill house, barn conversion and cart shed) sleep between 2 and 10 guests, and there's a cosy shepherd's hut for two tucked away in its own private corner of the farm.
