Hidden away in the Somerset countryside, this treehouse-style lodge feels like a proper escape from the everyday. Set among peaceful surroundings near Langport, Pear Tree Lodge blends contemporary design with a sense of being tucked into nature – elevated, secluded and characterful.

Sleeping up to four guests, the lodge is ideal for a couple, friends or small families. Inside, you’ll find a warm, open-plan living space cum bedroom, with a wood-burning stove at its heart – made for slow evenings after a day exploring. The interior strikes the balance between modern and rustic, with clean lines softened by natural textures and countryside views. Upstairs, the small mezzanine houses twin beds (can be super-king-size on request). It's worth noting that this level is accessed via a steep ladder, with limited headroom.

The layout makes the most of its unique setting. Elevated like a treehouse, there’s a sense of being slightly removed from the world below, whether you’re curled up inside or in the garden. Outside decking invites you to linger: enjoy a morning coffee, evening drinks, or simply soak up the stillness of rural Somerset.
