This long-standing and very central Old Town Italian cafe, restaurant and gelateria does great pizza and pasta dishes and is a proper Edinburgh institution – it even has part of the restaurant decked out as the Hispaniola from Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. Its coeliac owner also makes sure that there are plenty of gluten-free options on the menu!
