Lancashire, just below Cumbria up in the North West of England is a county that was at one point at the heart of Britain's Industrial Revolution. Now it's a county of contrasts with the cities of Preston and Lancaster, the famous beachside resort of Blackpool and the wild Forest of Bowen. Blackpool is the main attraction in the area with legions of holidaymakers descending on the resort in the summer. There's plenty to see at any time of year and also a host of great places to stay and eat.
