- 11 Guest Rooms
- Contemporary Pub with Rooms
The mill stream still rushes by the Miller’s Arms and helps lull you to sleep – adding to the fact that this is one of those many Canterbury buildings where you can feel the history. Downstairs is a decent pub and a restaurant serving good meals in the evenings. It can get a tat busy prior to theatre performance so try to time your meals for a little later and expect a delicious, large breakfast in the morning. All the rooms, named after Chaucer characters, are comfortable and well-equipped; some have views of the river which is literally on the doorstep. With the cathedral just around the corner, this is a well-located accommodation for strolling around the city centre. The Pub has an arrangement with the council to use their car park for a fee, request on check-in. And if you are in Canterbury to catch a play the Marlowe theatre is very near.
