Tennyson Cottage is a beautifully presented coastal retreat set in the heart of Brancaster Staithe, one of North Norfolk’s most characterful harbour villages. Created from two traditional terraces, the cottage offers a light-filled, contemporary home that still retains a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Sleeping up to eight guests, it offers generous space without losing its sense of comfort, making it ideal for family holidays, weekends with friends or peaceful off-season escapes by the sea.

Inside, the ground floor is designed for easy, sociable living. The spacious kitchen and dining area sits at the centre of the home, fitted with solid wooden worktops and modern appliances and large dining table for long, relaxed meals together. French doors open onto the rear terrace, making outdoor dining a natural extension of the living space in warmer months. At the front of the house, two inviting sitting rooms overlook the garden, and both feature wood-burning stoves –perfect for cosy evenings after blustery coastal walks. One is ideal for films or games nights, while the snug offers a quieter place to read or unwind and can provide additional sleeping

if required.

Upstairs, four well-proportioned bedrooms provide flexible accommodation. Two front-facing rooms enjoy expansive views across the marshes to the sea and feature super-king beds, while a further king room, which can also be arranged as twins, and a twin overlook the garden. A modern family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower completes the layout.

Outside, guests can enjoy front and rear gardens. The enclosed front area is ideal for children and dogs, while the rear terrace offers seating for eight and a gas BBQ, leading onto a spacious lawn.

Just moments from the cottage, Brancaster Staithe harbour is a hub for sailing, paddleboarding and kayaking, with boats heading out to the creeks and open coastline. The village is renowned for fresh seafood, with excellent pubs, cafés and a fishmonger offering the best of the local catch. The Norfolk Coastal Path runs nearby, providing fabulous walks through salt marshes and dunes, while Brancaster Beach, Holkham and Burnham Market are all within easy reach, making Tennyson Cottage an ideal base for exploring this glorious stretch of North Norfolk coastline.
