Based on a working farm near the Norfolk resort of Wells-next-the-Sea, Amber's Bell Tents at Branthill Farm is one of several stunning locations in this mini bell tent empire. Based on a farm on the beautiful Holkham estate, a few miles from the sea, it has 8 cosy, fully-furnished 6-metre bell tents to tempt you.
Each tent is super-comfy, providing all the excitement of camping but without some of the hard work. Like all the Amber's sites, they have proper beds for the adults and camp beds for the kids - all made up with thick winter tog double duvets and cotton linen. The tents are very sheltered behind hedges, with views of both the farm and over towards the coast. They have a wood-burning stove and a kitchen box of cookwares to help you cook up a storm on the outside firepit/barbecue. Or you can fire up the wood-fired pizza oven and cook one of the local artisan pizzas they sell in the on-site ale shop. Each tent has oodles of space outside, with it's own picnic area around individual fire pits, and the site has well-kept modern bathrooms with WCs, a washing-up station, an honesty shop and a games area.

The cotton canvas bell tents are fully furnished, featuring single and double beds (depending on your needs) and all bedding and linen included. Wood burners, storage and soft furnishings inside, plus a kitchen box equipped with utensils and vintage dishware. Outside each tent, you'll find a picnic table and fireside log seating and a BBQ/firepit. Brand new shower block on the field, plus a general washing station in the field for dirty dishes. There's also an onsite honesty shop for fire essentials, such as kindling, charcoal, firewood and candles. Badminton net and field toys, and a woodland den with hammocks.

Glamping only. Dogs not permitted. Large groups, corporate hire, birthday celebrations and (chilled out) stag and hen gatherings available by prior arrangement.

You can eat thier delicious fayre either in the gallery, or in the conservatory overlooking Holkham Park. Open for Breakfast from 8am to 10am, Lunch 12-2.30pm and Supper 6.30 with last orders at 9pm Booking advised.
Fat Cow Burgers, Fakenham NR21 0HA (Distance approx 15 mins drive). Delicious burgers from grass fed local cows based in Fakenham....chips, veggie and kids options too
The Lookout - Holkham Beach (Distance 2.8 miles). Offering spectacular views over the nature reserve, while serving quality coffee's and snacks with a zero waste policy.
The Globe Pub - Wells Next the Sea (Distance 2.4 miles). A stylish pub with fantastic inside and outside seating. Open for Breakfast; 8am - 10am Lunch; 12pm – 3pm - Dinner; 6pm - 8.30pm - and Saturday Light Bites: 3pm - 6pm
Wells Deli - The Quay, Well's Next the Sea. (Distance 2.4 miles). Great coffee and fast healthy food - think juices, shakes, juice shots, salad boxes, noodle soups, vegan and g/f alternatives - all to eat in and take away. Open daily from 9am to 5pm.
Frenchs Fish and Chips - The Quay, Well's Next the Sea. (Distance 2.4 miles). Traditional British Fish and Chips, to eat in or take out onto the harbour.
There's a CO-OP in Wells, which is well stocked for the holiday crowd, with a really great selection of upmarket ready meals as well as everything else you'd expect. Open 7am - 10pm every day, closing 4pm on Sunday.
