Had an awful stay at the air bnb in Dartmouth. The inside not as photographed. The free on sight on parking was filled. The car had parked in a way that meant that the key safe was inaccessible. At this time tried to call both provided emergency numbers and received no answer. The flat had nothing left I'm in it. Not even a tea bag or hand soap. Overnight my guests clothes were dirtied when snails climbed over them. Tried contact numbers again and got no answer. After the reservation was finished I contacted the company that owns the location via the air bnb. I outlined my complaints and requested a refund. I was told that this was impossible as I did not contact them during the stay. avoid this company. expensive, poor product, worse customer service

Rented at cottage in Shaldon at the end of June, was awoken the second day at 0645 to the building work being carried out next door, this happened everyday monday to friday 0645 to 1800. Rang BC, no offer of alternative accm, called again when we got home (a day early), sent them all the videos and photos, showing work being done, the noise, the times. Received an email saying owner had no idea of the building work, I found the planning applications on line, so the owner would have received notification. One of the builders told us work had been going on since November, whilst we were there, we had to contend with drills, disc cutters, heavy machinery etc. Was offered £140, an insult. Asked for the contact details of owner, so I could take her to small claims court. As per their T&C's I was legally entitled to these as the contract was between her and me. Flatly refused, 14 phone calls, numerous emails, asked to speak to managers, all on zoom calls or on away days!! The company doesn't stick to its T&C's, tried to intimidate me, by saying home owner was a lawyer, obviously not in Consumer Law! Im now taking BC to court and I hope that the court does not look favourably on their obstructive behaviour. BE WARNED. Terrible customer service and no care for their customers
