We’ve lost count of the number of people who recommended the Seahorse restaurant, and it’s not difficult to see why. Set across the road from the seafront, it’s friendly and atmospheric, and chef Mitch Tonks specialises in fresh fish and shellfish, simply roasted or grilled on the charcoal fire. The menu changes according to what’s available, but some are regular favourites: the bouillabaisse is fantastic. There's an extensive wine list, and deliciously luxurious yellow leather seating too. One gripe - their lunch deal doesn't include vegetables, so it's not as good a deal as it looks.
