Oak Tree Cottages
UK England East Anglia Norfolk
Just ten minutes away from the sea at Happisburgh, Oak Tree Cottages is a small complex of three single storey dog-friendly flint cottages set around an L-shaped courtyard just outside the North Norfolk village of East Ruston. Family-owned and -run, there is an enclosed field for dog to run around in: owners Lauren and Chris Risby are keen dog-lovers themselves so when they took over the business they knew they wanted it to be dog-friendly. Theere are two 2-bedroom cottages and one 3-bedroom cottage, and another 1-bedroom property on the way. All are dog friendly, and all are brightly restored barns with beams, quarry-tiled floors and lovely ig open-plan living areas. They allow up to 4 dogs in each property and provide beds, bowls, dog tags, throws for the furniture, towels for muddy paws, poo bags, treats and even crates if you need them. It’s a great place to visit with a dog, with country walks all around and great sandy beaches nearby – at Happisburgh, Mundesley and Overstrand – that are either completely or partly dog friendly.
