A historic and very comfortable Cotswolds inn, in the heart of Chipping Campden and serving fabulous Indian food.

The Noel Arms is steeped in history – it is even said that Charles II stayed here during the Civil War – and is situated in one of the most picturesque villages in the Cotswolds. All 28 rooms are dog-friendly, even the two with grand four-poster beds, and there are water bowls and dog treats in both the bar and café. The hotel hosts up to twenty dogs at a time and are welcome throughout the hotel and on its terrace, which is a sun-trap in the Summer. Its nearby sister property, Cotswold House, has a further ten dog-friendly rooms and a garden that is ideal for pets. The surrounding countryside is stunning and the hotel provides walking maps for guests; the popular ‘Cotswold Way’ hike begins nearby. The hotel is particularly famous for its Indian food. Chef Indunil has been named Best Curry Chef at the Great British Pub awards on three occasions and his Curry Nights (on the last Thursday of each month) attract up to 100 guests, particularly for his Black Lamb curry signature dish. Its best to book! Oh, and the homemade cakes and pastries in the cafe are not to be missed! There is a £15 nightly surcharge for dogs.
