Warning: don’t visit this place when you’re hungry – unless you want a yummy takeaway lunch of course, washed down with a wonderful locally roasted cup of coffee. Broadway’s deli is quite a find. It looks like the childhood greengrocer’s of your imagination, or something straight out of the travel pages of a very upmarket magazine, facing the village green and offering you everything from organic butternut squash to onions as they’re meant to be sold, on strings. Bespoke hampers make the most original gift to any foodie friend who perhaps couldn’t join you on your Cotswolds jaunt.
