A great team and a great location, just off Bruntsfield Links in an area short of venues that offer both great drinks and decent food, makes this a must-stop. It is all very postmodern industrial inside, with stripped back brick walls and a distressed décor in keeping with its gastropub clientele. The sharing plates are popular, as is the chunky steak and ale pie, which comes in a rich gravy infused with local favourite Innis & Gunn ale. We’ve heard some mixed reports on the burgers, but most people seem to love their cocktails, and we agree. They mix a mean mojito and do some interesting things with their whiskies.
