This is my favourite cafe in London. . . seriously exquisite coffee, the type of coffee that gets me out of bed in the morning, and coffee/tea is served with ultra cool mini-milk bottles and a little amaretti biscuit. Service is so friendly as are the other customers. I also love the fact you can sit outside or at the large rustic wooden tables, with a good selection of newspapers and easy-listening background music. Perfect place to read the papers on a Sunday afternoon. For a light lunch my favourite is the gourmet salad with avocado, walnuts and goats cheese served with toasted rye bread or ciabatta, the bruschetta with avocado and mozzarella also looks amazing and have been meaning to try. The cakes are lovely too – have tried the chocolate muffin and the carrot cake, both I would recommend. All round just the kind of cafe you would hope to find on every corner – tried, tested and loved, catch me there most days along with all the other regulars.
