Royal Marine Pub and Hotel

Combe Martin is a North Devon village, which boasts the longest High Street in the UK at over 2 miles. The Royal Marine is on the situated on the aptly named Seaside at the bottom of the village. It is a family run business with the owners are in the bar and restaurant all the time and happy to chat to customers.

The food is outstanding. It is locally sourced and freshly cooked on the day. They have just won some national awards for their home –made pies, which are absolutely delicious. There is Wi-Fi throughout the pub and restaurant and you can gaze out over the spectacular views of Combe Martin Bay, enjoying freshly brewed coffee. The Carvery on a Sunday is absolutely delicious with a choice of several meats and lots of vegetables.

There is a good choice of accommodation with en-suite rooms or self-catering apartments. Parts of the Royal Marine date back to the 17th century, so it is filled with character but with all the mod-cons you would expect, such as colour TV and Tea making facilities in all rooms. It is a very quiet place to rest and is also a great stopping place for some of the fantastic walks on the this coastline.

It is fantastic place to eat, which a good choice of traditional food, nice big portions and is family friendly.
