Combining the best of countryside and coastal living, the striking larch-clad houses each sleep eight people across four bedrooms. Eco-forward in design and function, they have energy-efficient features like solar panels. Inside, the properties are contemporary, open-plan and light-laden, with high ceilings, skylights and large windows. All have a high-spec kitchen with stone worktops, an island with seating and top-quality A-rated Neff appliances. Meanwhile, each living area has a wall-mounted flat-screen Samsung TV and sliding doors leading out to decking, where you can relax with a tipple of your choice and enjoy the far-reaching countryside views. Come mealtime, gather around the dining table or head to a nearby restaurant – varied options include The Jube and Woolacombe Bay Pizza Co.
In terms of sleeping arrangements, on the first floor, you'll find a pair of stylishly decorated bedrooms – a king, complete with a furnished balcony, and a twin that's adaptable to a super king on request – plus a family bathroom with a tub. Back downstairs, check out the spacious master and its en-suite with an oversized shower, the second twin (configurable into a super king, if that suits you better) and the shower room. Some units are pet-friendly and have private outdoor hot tubs; all have Smart technology like Wondrwall renewable infra-red heating and lighting systems and share the extensive grounds and a communal pool (available mid to late May until the end of September).
Out and about, there are tons of activities to partake in, from cycling the Tarka Trail and spending the day at three-mile Woolacombe Beach to playing a round at Saunton Sands Golf Club. Back at Willingcott Luxury Eco Homes, it's all about relaxing and making the most of the scenic surronds.
