Head to Cribbs Causeway for the south west’s largest open-air ice rink, take a ride on the Christmas train and visit Santa’s Enchanted Ice Castle. For another option, there's central Millennium Square. Both are open until the 6th. Come evening, sleep at stylish hotel Bristol Harbour.
The city is filled with options this December and into the new year. First-up, there's the Natural History Museum, an outdoor rink in grand surroundings that's open until 20th January. There are also rinks at Somerset House, the Tower of London and on the outskirts of the metropolis, Hampton Court Palace.
