Don’t just sit on the beach, get out on the water and do something more active. Polkerris Beach offers excellent windsurfing opportunities and here you can hire everything you need, plus have some tuition to get you started. The sailing is great, but if the wind’s not up, try sea kayaking, stand-up paddle surfing (all the rage) or, for the more adventurous, the two-day power-boating course. The staff are friendly and happy to help you out, whether its sorting out some gear or giving you a full lesson.
