A firm Hull favourite for a city break or business stay, the Hideout apartments mix convenience and boutique stylings in a brilliant city-centre location, right in the heart of the celebrated Old Town. It’s an apart-hotel set-up, so it’s self-check-in with no reception and no daily cleaning, but you do have access to fresh towels and linen, tea and coffee supplies and communal laundry facilities. There’s secure parking too.

The spec is top-notch in the 15 one and two-bed apartments, with locally sourced designer furniture, Yorkshire-made king-sized beds, classy kitchens and sparkling bathrooms, and a chic, urban feel throughout. The deluxe apartments have massive bathtubs, there’s one open-plan accessible apartment, and a small, quirky studio ‘den’ best suited for short or single-night stays. Smart TVs (including one in each bedroom), Roberts DAB radios, underfloor heating and organic toiletries, all come as standard. A cool coffee shop is on site, while a couple of doors down are the streetfood pop-ups inside the wonderful Trinity Market. You really can’t do better in Hull for a home-from-home boutique stay.
