Well located for enjoying the sedate pleasures of Seaview and Seagrove Bay, the Boat House has four recently refurbished rooms that make for a very comfortable bolthole in this quiet part of the island. Extremely well finished the light rooms reflect the seaside surroundings perfectly. Downstairs, the top restaurant and bar feature real ales and a good wine list. A traditional pub environment with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, this is a good place to stay or simply enjoy a quiet drink both as a shelter in the winter or sitting outside when the sun arrives. With views across a narrow beach and out to sea it's a pleasant location on the northeast corner of the island.

Calm sea view
A nice little pub overlooking a pebble beach, it feels far from the busier towns of Ryde and Newport, though it is just a ten minute walk along the seafront to Ryde. The pub serves ales and a good selection of food, including cooked breakfasts, and the rooms are situated directly above the bar, which can lead to a bit of noise till closing time, but otherwise it's a very peaceful location and you'll wake up to a lovely sea view.
