Even if you only ever do one (accompanied) flight, hanging over the English Channel hundreds of feet above the island is the sort of experience that stays with you forever. Butterfly Paragliding is a well-established centre and the island’s cliffs, winds and open landscape make it an ideal training ground. This is a truly unique place to give it a try and for the best views of the island and the south coast of England a bird's eye view is the top way to do it. The staff are friendly, hugely experienced and excellent teachers and while they may enjoy scaring you by glidinging out over the sea you're in very safe hands!
