If you're looking for a place not far from London for a big family gathering – or you just have a big family! – then look no further than this recently renovated country house, which has five beautiful bedrooms along with a pool, hot tub and much else besides.

Marble Bridge Farm marries heritage with high-end luxury. Historic features like Tudor beams and a classic cottage brick hearth speak to its past, yet its present incarnation is brimming with the contemporary. After an extensive refurb, there's a spacious ground floor with a superbly equipped kitchen, an adjacent dining room, lots of living space, and a bedroom, and an upper level with four double guest rooms and two-and-a-half bathrooms. There are plenty of walks on your doorstep – sleepy Sidlesham is a quintessential Sussex village that provides easy access to the South Downs, Chichester Harbour and the renowned beaches at East and West Wittering. The house is also just a few minutes away by car from Chichester itself, with its magnificent cathedral, museums, galleries, shops and restaurants. You're also well placed for a visit to Sidlesham's Crab & Lobster pub, which has a cosy main bar and serves excellent food, or a short drive away you could try the equally enticing The Anchor Bleu, right by the water in Bosham harbour.
