Combining Wheatsheaf Barn and Field Cottage, The Big Green Barn is an impressive, interconnecting eight-bedroom property just 15 minutes north of Ripon in Yorkshire. Perfect for a family get-together or a group of friends, discover hot tubs, games rooms, and enclosed outdoor areas. If you're vacationing with fewer people, you can book them individually.
The pair of connecting holiday homes sleeps up to 16 (eight in each), and you can bring your dogs, too. Wheatsheaf Barn is larger, featuring a light-filled open-plan living space with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows offering fabulous countryside views. Alongside that, there's a fully-equipped kitchen and a cosy snug. Children and adults will no doubt love the games room, complete with a pool table, dartboard and bar.
Meanwhile, Field Cottage is home to an open-plan living, kitchen and dining space with a skylight. The kitchen has everything you need, including an oven, a fridge-freezer, a hob, a dishwasher and a separate drinks fridge, and there's a games room with table football, a dartboard, seating and a Smart TV.
Super-stylish, with blue and grey tones throughout, both properties have eight-seater dining tables, breakfast bars and patio doors opening out to the garden.
Bedroom-wise across Wheatsheaf and Field, seven are super kings that can be configured as twins if required, and one is a fixed king. All are uber-comfy and have a Smart TV; one is on the ground floor with a shower en-suite. You'll find two en-suite masters, plus a pair of modern bathrooms, each with a shower over the tub.
Head outside and enjoy a pair of Jacuzzi-style hot tubs, a patio with seating, tables for al fresco meals, and plenty of lawn space. If you'd rather not cook, why not book a private chef? And if you fancy a beauty treatment, Holiday at Home can recommend a local therapist to give massages and facials in the comfort of The Big Green Barn.
When you're not making the most of The Big Green Barn, the traditional market town of Masham is nearby, where you can visit Black Sheep Brewery. Lightwater Valley Family Adventure Park is nine miles away, historic York is drivable in under an hour, and you're within easy reach of the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.
