Titanic Hotel

Nowhere better represents the regeneration of Liverpool's dockland areas than the Titanic Hotel, situated in a warehouse in the city's Stanley Dock. It's a super-stylish place to stay, retaining the atmosphere of the old docks in its spacious guest rooms and public spaces, and although not dead central, it's only a 15-minute walk or short taxi ride into the city centre,

Inside the hotel is gloriously cool, with bare brick, high ceilings and big airy rooms with huge bathrooms that have been furnished with contemporary flair and impeccable taste – Liverpool and all its attractions are on your doorstep but we wouldn't blame you for spending a lot of your stay within the slick walls of the hotel. There's a fitness centre and pa with sauna, steam room and multiple treatments, and the cavernous Stanleys Bar and Grill restaurant;  the cool Rum Bar is a nice place for a drink and it also serves a simpler bar menu. Overall it's without doubt one of the city's best places to stay.
