Bring all your normal camping equipment, but leave your tent at home.
The campsite has clean composting toilets, a shower and three drinking water points. Vehicles are not allowed on to the camping field which enhances the relaxed feel and safety of the site.

About Wardley Hill Campsite

NearbyThe quiet lanes offer peaceful cycling or horse riding and there are miles of footpaths to discover on foot. The river Waveney passes one mile away, providing the gateway into the Norfolk Broadswith boats and canoes available to hire locally. On the river banks, Bungay and Beccles (the latter with particularly good access to the river, a slipway and many boat rental companies) are both market towns with plenty to offer, including supermarkets, art galleries, great pubs, restaurants, tourist information and lots of independant shops. The coast is also near at hand with the stretching sandy beaches of Lowestoftand Great Yarmouth to the east for a smattering of ‘kiss me quick’ seaside. Follow the line south, however, for argueabley the best of the Suffolk Coast with Walberswick (the place to go for crabbing at the watersedge), Thorpeness and Aldeburgh all worth a visit.
Food & DrinkIn the village there is a wonderful Italian restaurant, The Olive Tree (01508 518147) and a small convenience store with post office. To the west in Broome you’ll find the Artichoke (01986 893325), a traditional country pub serving good food, real ales and a huge selection of whiskies. Both of these are within walking distance of the campsite. Looking further afield, Wardley Hill sits between Bungay and Beccles. Both market towns have plenty to of excellent food to offer along with supermarkets for a quicker grocery shop.
Family FriendlyHunting for bugs in the streams and den building in the woods entertain little tots on site, while there's a play park within walking distance and safe sea swimming a short drive away.
Wardley Hill Campsite is located at Wardley Hill Road, Kirby Cane, Bungay, Norfolk. NR35 2PQ
The campsite is at the top of Wardley Hill Road just off the A143 Bungay to Beccles Road which is easily accessed from the A14 at Bury St Edmunds or the A140 at Ipswich. Wardley Hill Road is opposite 'Crossways', the countryside supplies store in Ellingham.
The nearest train station is Beccles (0845 748 4950) or Diss (0845 748 4950) where you can catch an Anglian bus to Kirby Cane. The campsite is perfectly situated on national cycle route 1 and the north sea cycle route for those of you on two wheels.
