St Ann’s House
UK England South West England Wiltshire Salisbury
Situated on a quiet side street near Salisbury's cathedral, this relaxed eight-room bed-and-breakfast brings an architect’s eye for style to a Georgian townhouse. The individually decorated rooms have been thoughtfully kitted out with antique furniture and choice pieces from around the globe to complement beautiful Georgian features such as cast iron fireplaces, sash windows, and a number of stunning chandeliers. All are en-suite, spacious and uncluttered, and decorated in restful shades of taupe and vert de terre, with high quality linens on the beds. Your stay will be further enhanced by the superb breakfasts prepared to order by the owner Michael Riley, who also happens to be Andrew Lloyd-Webber’s former chef. Some rooms on the higher floor have excellent views across the rooftops, punctuated by the spire of the cathedral and all the rooms have wifi, flatscreen TVs, tea and coffee-making facilities. Great value, especially considering the premium location.
