Thai Sarocha

Nothing fancy, just a well-regarded Thai restaurant whose lotus screen-prints and Asian carvings on the walls add sufficient style to ensure this feels like eating out but has none of the fuss. All the standard curries and noodle dishes are on a menu as well as some interesting fish dishes. Head chef, Auddy, creates wonderfully fused flavours and dishes are thoughtfully presented. In the evening it can be a bustling place, while a £7.50 two-course lunch deal is a bargain if your passing by during the day. Allow a little choosing time - the menu is extensive!
