The interior flaunts a warm and welcoming open-plan living space with plenty of light pouring through the window above and lined by wooden panels to create a a uniquely cosy cocoon. There's a four-poster bed to rest your head, created from ash coppiced from the farm's own woodland, a woodburning stove surrounded by stylish sofas, a kitchen area with electric oven, hob and fridge and an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath. It's all beautifully done, with a wonderfully homespun feel that is contemporary and fun.
You can purchase organic homegrown produce on site from the owners, perfect for a home-cooked breakfast to energise you for the day, while nearby Midsomer Norton has a local shop and a pub for more options. The bustling city of Bath is just a short, scenic drive away , while the Mendip Hills AONB, with its host of walking and cycling routes, is a must-see for adventure-seekers. You're also only a short drive from Cheddar Gorge, making the Roundhouse a wonderful choice for your escape to Somerset.
