It's hard to imagine a better self-catering option in this part of Dorset than this cosy and comfortable three-bedroom cottage.
Completely restored and opened in the summer of 2020, the Eastbury & Spa's very own self-catering cottage is a cosy home-from-home for groups of up to six people, or those who just prefer to self-cater while still enjoying all the benefits of a first-class spa property on their doorstep.
Either way, it's a lovely place to stay, really cosy, with lots of pictures, antiques and curios, a comfy sitting room with an Inglenook fireplace and wood-burning stove, a separate dining room and a spacious, superbly equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there are three double bedrooms, each of which has its own en-suite bathroom. It's dog friendly too, and and has a lovely mature garden and outside terrace for early evening drinks and food when the weather is kind; it's even got a private hot tub for really self-indulgent nights under the stars.
With all the spa facilities on your doorstep – sauna, steam room, hydrotherapy tub, outdoor Jacuzzi, mini gym and lots of treatments – not to mention the superb position in the centre of Sherborne, it would be hard to find a better self-catering option in this part of Dorset. Why would you stay anywhere else?

The Eastbury Cottage comprises of 3 luxury en-suite bedrooms. The Master bedroom comes with Super King size bed with Victorian style bathtub, wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with rain shower. On the same level across the hall where a library of books resides is the double bedroom with walk in wardrobe and adjoining bathroom. Upstairs in the eaves of the cottage is home to a beamed super king size bedroom with the views of the garden. You will feel right at home in an instant!
Downstairs the large Inglenook fireplace takes pride of place in the sitting room, an adjoining elegant dining room with solid oak dining and games table seating up to 6 guests and an extremely well equipped kitchen including all the amenities you would expect to find in a delightful luxury cottage. A downstairs WC is located by the kitchen for your convenience. You will probably want to buy the cottage but you can only rent it and have a wonderful stay!
Outside you will find an attractive private walled garden with alfresco dining table & terrace with barbecue for the warmer months. Walking towards the rear of the garden you will find a well lit garden path leading you to the rustic cedar wood fired hot tub.
Luxury touches are plentiful with sumptuously soft towelling dressing gowns, towels and The White Company toiletries. Netflix enabled Smart TV’s throughout the property and an Alexa located in the dining room. You will never be bored with various family friendly board games including Backgammon, puzzles, Monopoly & Ludo!
