Named after the Dutch refugees who lodged here in the 16th century, Strangers’ Hall is a beautiful old mansion with parquet floors, exposed beams and oodles of walnut panelling. It also accommodates thousands of bygones and curios, including scores of antique board games and toys, gingerbread moulds and vintage musical instruments.
