Dragon Hall

115-123 King Street Norwich NR1 1QE

A remarkable survivor, the wonky wooden beams of this ancient cloth merchants’ house and showroom stretch along King Street not far from the River Wensum. Inside, you can admire the handsome oak struts that support the ceiling. It's a museum mainly, and tells the story of the merchants who lived here and by doing so explains a lot about the history of Norwich. The premises are now home to the National Centre for Writing.
