A unique little licensed café-restaurant with an oversized model railway running around the dining room. The menu is surprisingly extensive and varied – they have light snacks and old favourites like gammon steak, lasagne and chilli con carne at very reasonable prices. Teas here are a bit of a speciality, and come with a gobsmacking range of home-baked cakes and pastries. Sit and enjoy the wonderful food as the wheels of the model locomotive chug by, what could be more quaint? A traditional café and tea shop that stands out from the herd with its determined quirkiness.
