The Fish Café

17 Tower Street Rye TN31 7AT

The Fish Café is one of three eateries owned and run by Paul and Rebecca Webbe, along with Wild Mushroom in Westfield and Rock-a-Nore in Hastings. This one is a smart open-kitchen seafood joint boasting locally caught and unusual species such as gurnard and pollack, as well as the usual suspects of oysters, winkles, crab and lobster. It’s not all seafood though – there’s an aged beef fillet or roast duckling for those who prefer something more meaty. The building also hosts Webbe's cookery school where Paul shares his knowledge and teaches some of the recipes that were the origins of this now flourishing buisness.
