Overlooking the western end of Loch Tay in the Perthshire Highlands is where you’ll find Tatha View. As the name suggests, this place is all about the view, and to help you enjoy it there’s a huge elevated deck accessed through large glazed doors from the living room and neighbouring snug. These two spaces are further connected by a double-aspect wood burner that keeps both areas cosy whatever the weather is doing outside. If it’s good, we predict you’ll be out on that deck watching boats come and go on the loch and the sun setting over the surrounding hills. The sofas in the main living room are orientated to help you enjoy the view too. They, like everything inside, are modern and high quality but neutrally stylish, so as not to detract from what’s outside. Wooden floors in the well-equipped kitchen and shared spaces give way to carpets in the four bedrooms – two double rooms, a zip and link room, and a twin – which all feel warm, cosy and homely with supremely comfortable beds. The master has an en-suite bathroom with a free-standing bath and a separate shower, and there are two further shower rooms shared between the rest. All are tiled, modern and clean.

The setup here will suit families as well as groups of friends, with plenty of space to spread out and lots of places to hang out together. The sizeable kitchen and connected dining table are perfect for everyone to eat together, though it's an easy wander into the village too. Or, for more choice, hop in the car to nearby Aberfeldy. Like Kenmore, it's a must-visit Perthshire Highlands destination, and just six miles away.
