The Bishop’s Palace

St David's Pembrokeshire

The atmospheric ruins of the Bishops’ Palace lie opposite the cathedral, and date back to the 14th century. The imposing Bishops’ Hall and Great Hall, with its magnificent rose window, are well worth a visit and it’s easy to imagine the ghosts of long-dead bishops and clerics flitting around them on dark, stormy nights. Dogs welcome on lead.
