The Druidstone Hotel runs one of Pembrokeshire’s best restaurants, in a pretty much magical setting, with big windows looking out across St Bride’s Bay – perfect as the sun goes down. And if the main room is full, there are tables in the bar downstairs, or outside on a terrace overlooking the sea. Chef Angus Bell sources local ingredients – Welsh lamb, fresh sea bass and other fish – and mixes traditional and global recipes. There are always a couple of good veggie choices, choosing from either the Dining Room or Bar menu. Every Tuesdays there’s a themed buffet ‘feast’ – Indian, Moroccan, Mexican, or wherever has caught Angus’s fancy.
