One of Nottingham’s premier restaurants, Hart’s prides itself on its smart, modern ambience and creative menu with local, seasonal ingredients to the fore. Starters include the likes of Colwick cheese, dried tomatoes and quail eggs, a tasty prelude to corn-fed chicken, butternut squash risotto with  smoked bacon or lamb chop, gnocchi, courgette caponata with aubergine purée.  A word of praise also to the head chef, Dan Burridge, who will readily sally forth from his kitchen to expand upon his dishes and the combination of flavours he is seeking.
