Close to Lulworth Castle, the Weld Arms, once popular with local smugglers, is an alluring 17th-century thatched building, recently been taken back under the management of the estate, fully renovating the bar and restaurant with a fresh look, new menu and extended drinks list. There’s a large garden and a restaurant serving excellent quality pub classics such as burgers and steaks, as well as an incredible array of fish options, nibbles and sides. They have a fantastic sustainable philosophy too, championing local and sustainable produce, concentrating on the seasons and clean flavours, so you can enjoy their brilliant food and feel smug about it too.
