In a stunning clifftop location, this eclectic collection of Victoriana was gathered by the wealthy Russell Cotes family during their travels around the world. The house itself is ornately decorated and benefits from wonderful sea views and lovely landscaped gardens. Inside, you’ll find a world of oriental crafts and Victorian artefacts, including some fascinating treasures and paintings, the highlight of which is Rosetti’s Venus Verticordia (1864). The museum is child friendly and has a great café as well.
