The Auchrannie Resort on the Isle of Arran has for years managed to be all things to all people, a family friendly place to stay made up of an original old-world luxury hotel, a more modern annexe and a series of luxury lodges. It has a swathe of leisure facilities, including 2 swimming pools and an excellent spa awash with myriad treatments and a superb chill out room, all amid extensive tree-filled grounds. Wherever you decide to stay, the resort is surrounded by sweeping mountains, and the sea is just a short distance away. They have no less than 3 restaurants to choose from – Scottish tapas at eighteen69, the Cruize Brasserie and Brambles seafood grill, and you can dine with your dog in the Waterside bar as well as in the lounges of eighteen69 or in any of the guest lounges in the spa; on sunnier days you can chill out on the Cruize Balcony, Brambles terrace or the outside spaces next to the spa. Meanwhile dogs receive treats on arrival, towels are provided for muddy paws and the grounds are large enough for even the most inexhaustible hound

Just back from a few days at Auchrannie Resort - totally blown away. They really do offer something for everyone.
Choice of two hotel plus self catering properties, all of a very high standard.
Great for families as well as couples and solo travellers. Will be back.
