Island Cheese Company

For over 15 years the Arran Cheese Company have been flavouring cheddars on the Isle of Arran. They are now a household name in Scotland, but their operation at Home Farm on the island is still pleasantly small scale. Just pop along and you can see the cheese being waxed through a window into the factory. The adjacent shop offers the chance to taste the wares and pick up such delights as chilli cheddar, whisky cheddar and the original – and for many people still the best – Arran Mustard Cheddar. Look out too for their cheeses in farm shops and at farmers markets throughout the land.
