Right in the heart of Margate's Old Town, No 42 is one of the latest hotels in the sleek Guesthouse group,  a 19-bedroom hotel situated in a prime position looking out over the resort's magnificent beach. With its fabulous Mediterranean-style rooftop bar, Pearly Cow restaurant, where you can enjoy steaks and seafood on an outdoor terrace, and funky seafront café, nowhere perhaps epitomises Margate's resurgence more. The rooms are dog-friendly throughout and are vogueishly on-point in every other way too, with Smart TVs and vinyl record players, tea- and coffee-making facilites neatly enclosed in a mini beach hut, Roberts Radios and robes as standard. All have en-suit bathrooms with showers while the more expensive rooms have baths and sea views that you can enjoy from your own balcony.  Downstairs there's a spa offering treatments and big copper baths for couples to enjoy.
