Abbots Barton Hotel
Basically a Best Western means well-run, good amenities, plenty of comfort, but a bit dull. And the Abbots Barton Hotel is just that: a good, solid, midrange hotel in a rambling mansion with a modern extension and substantial gardens. It's 10–15 minutes’ walk from the centre and as well as free wi-fi throughout it also has free onsite parking, not always easy to find in Canterbury. Some rooms do have good views of the cathedral and there's a bar and restaurant downstairs.
