Thorncliffe
UK England North West England West Yorkshire Hebden Bridge
Carmel and Jo run this characterful B&B with charm and humour; there's a lovely laid-back vibe here – and extraordinary views over the town. Thorncliffe is a five minute walk out of the centre of Hebden, a handsome Victorian terrace with original features (stained glass windows, lovely floor tiles); perched on a hillside as it is, the silence is golden. The big attic room is light and comfy with everything you need – maps, local guides, novels and a mini fridge for fresh milk and/or a nice Sauvignon Blanc. For breakfast you will get fresh fruit, cereal, freshly made cafetiere coffee and good bread. If you feel the need, pop down to Mooch for a Full English.
