Right on Woodbridge's main square, this charming B&B, decked with flowers and plants, enjoys the town’s best and certainly most central location. It's also the town's most historic place to stay, an originally thirteenth-century building that was, er, modernised in Tudor times, and its creaky floors and rickety beams are lovingly tended by owner Sarenka Knight, who is a delightful hostess and will tell you all about the history of the building and the plants she grows out front and back. There are three rooms in all – a double and family suite in the main building, and a double in a converted barn in the garden. And what could be better than a medieval building like this, but with free wi-fi?
