Telford House

A  stylish self-catering getaway, Telford House nestles in mature grounds in an elevated position overlooking the waters of the Menai Straits, Situated in Bangor at the foot of the Menai Bridge, it offers superb views across to Anglesey and is the perfect place for exploring both the mainland of North Wales and Anglesey itself.

The house is spread over three floors and has room for up to 14 guests, making it the ideal spot for a holiday with friends or family. It has a variety of social spaces where you can spend time together, including a well-equipped kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and dishwasher, a dining area, two spacious sitting rooms and an inviting snug for cosy evenings in. There's also a music room and a conservatory.

The property provides flexible sleeping arrangements for a variety of needs. Take your pick from six beautiful bedrooms, including three kings (one has an en-suite with a roll-top bath), a double, a twin, and a family room with access to a second-floor double and bathroom. Five of the six bedrooms also offer views of the Menai Straits.

Up to two dogs are welcome and there's plenty of space for your canine companions to play, with your own private landscaped gardens which stretch down to the river; there's also a patio area with furniture and a barbecue for al fresco dining in summer. With all this comfort and those wonderful views, you may not want to go very far at all, but in case you do, this house is a great base for the area – both Bangor and Anglesey itself. Nearby, you can visit The Menai Bridges Exhibition before taking a walk along the Belgian Promenade and crossing the bridge to the beautiful Treborth Botanic Garden.
